Friends of ABMS was established to fulfill the need for a dedicated non-profit organization that can pursue funding streams, grant opportunities, and financial support that individual families cannot access alone.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward classroom materials, enrichment programs, and facilities improvements for our students.

We bring families, teachers, and neighbors together to create a vibrant and supportive school community.

Our dedicated volunteers lead the organization with passion, accountability, and purpose.
Ami Halbur
Chair
ABMS parent for over 12 years, aerospace engineer, and dedicated community organizer. As a mom to Peter, Henrik, and Clark, I bring more than 20 years of leadership experience, a deep appreciation for Montessori education, and a passion for creative, hands-on community building.
Mariam Hussein
Secretary
Lawyer & Mother of two ABMS students. Mariam manages all meeting minutes and organizational documentation.
Ashley Yurchi
Treasurer
Construction Estimator & Mom to four ABMS students. Ashley ensures fiscal responsibility and transparent financial reporting.
